Redskins Hire Running Back Coach

The Redskins may have a coach from the Super Bowl days returning to Washington as the running backs coach. Earnest Byner was the leading rusher on the Redskins 1991 Super Bowl champion team. In all he played in Washington for five seasons, rushing for over 1,000 yards twice. In all, his NFL career covered 14 seasons with the Redskins, Browns, and Ravens. He also served as the Redskins’ running backs coach during Joe Gibbs second tenure in Washington from 2004-2007. He also has coached running backs for the Ravens, Titans, Jaguars and, since 2012, the Bucs.
