Redskins Fire Bobby Turner

The Washington Redskins have announced today the release of 3 coaches. The most notable is running back coach Bobby Turner. In addition Richard Hightower (special teams and defensive backs assistant) and  Chris Morgan (O-line) have been let go.
Turner has had great success with the Redskins 2010-2013. He was hired on January 14th 2010. In his first season he had Roy Helu Jr. amass 640 yards on 151 rushing attempts. His second season was a memorable one with Alfred Morris gaining 1613 yards on 335 rushing attempts. Morris was named to the NFL-All Pro and All-Rookie teams. This year Morris had similar success with 1275 on 276 carries. Despite the success of the running game the coach has been let go. In what appears to be a clearing of the Shanahan era completely. Turner served as the RB coach with Mike for 1995-2009. The connection may of proven fatal as almost all coaches who were connected to Kyle or Mike have been let go.
