Redskins Free Agents

With the first step of the off season approaching, on March 8 free agency starts. The Redskins look to improve the roster via free agency.

Last years 3-13 and Bruce Allen announcing the Redskins will be very active in free agency as well as the fact they have $30 million in cap space should be evidence for the Redskins to make a splash in the free agency pool.

Quick note they have around $30 Million to spend. The problem is with so many of there own team have expiring contract the $30 million figure would likely be quite smaller maybe in the teens. Remember they will probably Re-Sign both Orakpo for around $10 million and probably around 10 of there own when it is all said and done.

Looking back to last season the Redskins need to find a #2WR,RT,RG, #2MLB, SS,CB,DE and a new punter. They have 6 picks in the draft not to burst any bubbles but if their lucky they will land 3 of these players.

So in the 2014 Free agency look for them to find the #2 Receiver as well as a CB and a DE/DT. As it is still very early and the free agents are not set yet due to the fact many will be resigned before it.

In-order not to burst any bubbles around the possibility of a big name player in their prime coming to DC we will release the targets around March 4th when the teams have started to resign their own players.
