As the NFL regular season winds down today several teams will be rejoicing the season is over and time has come for the off season and time to forget the season. The Redskins and Giants fit that idea. The 3-12 Redskins play the 6-9 Giants. Both teams were expected to compete for the NFC East title. Both struggled and failed to reach 500.
Quick Hits
For Cousins this is his last time to impress the NFL and be prove that he is worth trading for. So far he showed potential but turnovers hurt him. It is very hard to predict what will happen to Cousins in the future. He has value in being traded but a reliable back up is needed on every NFL team. The problem with that is Cousins looks like a starter not a back up. The other problem that comes up is who wants him? He is talented but until the Incoming Rookie QB's Declare fpr the NFL draft there is no reason to trade unless you think he will be the number 1 QB drafted in the 2014 NFL draft. So the short version Cousins will not find out his future for awhile
How many coaches will be left after the Season? Jim Haslet, Keith Burns, Kyle/Mike Shanahan all may be gone soon. This leaves a bunch of position coaches left.
How many Redskins will be gone after the season? This to is hard to say depending on the new coaches scheme coming in?
With the season at a close the fun starts as we see a activity filled off season begin.
