4 Keys to the Game vs. Raiders

1. RUN THE BALL

The Redskins will face a Oakland Raiders team that has had trouble stopping the run. There three opponents were the dreadful Jaguars, the pass happy Broncos who only avg 3.8 yards per carry and the Colts in week one who rushed for almost 5 yards per carry on 13 attempts. The point try to get Morris his 20 carries.

2. Defence stay In the game

The year so far has been dreadful do to the lack of offence and lack of defense. the defense has suddenly caught the tackling flu and have missed at least 6 tackles in a game. In addition in order for the offence to get the ball it would be wise to stop them on 3rd down. The Raiders have a great rushing attack 148 rushing yards per game the skins need to stop the running game and blitz the inexperience QB's of the Raiders.

Note:  Terrell Pryor has been cleared to play but Matt Flynn is prepared to start. It will be interesting to see who will start the Athletic Pryor or the pocket passer Flynn.

3.Avoid costly mistakes

Between all the Flags and the sill turnovers the redskins have found ways to kill all momentum every time they get it. They need to stay clear of the yellow flags to maintain there drives.

4. Secondary step up.

The Redskins have struggled with pass coverage. David Amerson has looked like a stud while looking like a dud. His inconsistency has hurt him. In addition the safety Bacarri Rambo needs to continue to improve in coverage. Deangalo Hall, Josh Wilson, David Amerson...don't get burned to badly please.. On a good note the Raiders QB are not considered accurate so look for a interception from the secondary.
